personally think the full windsor can be a bit footballerish. ok for weddings i wud feel like a bit of a wideboy at an interview.

i favour the half windsor, still robust but slighty subtler.

i know exactly what you mean but if you have a slightly slimmer tie (not a skinny tie) you don't get that fat knot

whenever i try a half-windsor it goes badly wrong

when i pull it tight it never ends up as a triangle, the bigger half always slips to the side
