disown + denial/my approach is gonna be the best friend type father who she can chill with and chat to and stuff, then when i hear crap like "boyfriends" and "raving" make a clear correlation between our relationship breaking down and this behaviour. emotionally blackmailing Your children >>>>

Dunno. When I have kids I'm hoping and praying to all the gods for boys.
lol if i have a daughter im gonna be on that "you are my little princess you are beautiful" vibe
I've thought about this and I think this approach is responsible for the attitude of a lot of females today who feel like they deserve special treatment for no apparent reason.I think instilling a sense of self worth is important especially with females but putting them on a pedestal so they step into the real world believing they're 'special' is probably the reason I have to look at certain chicks like they're dirt on my shoe to restore the balance after they look at me like 'You're impressed by me aren't you?'With all that said Boys>>>>
And equally, a lot of loose chicks have daddy issues / are very insecure / seek validation from guys.Yes the balance is the key, not saying I want her to be stuck up but my daughter being stuck up >>>>> my daughter being loose

DEF MORE STRESSFUL THAN SONS
cant c/s this rllyi know i gave my parents more grief than all my 3 sisters put together.obv u got all these slores about and the thought of ur child turning into that is like sum kind of nightmare, but aside from that, generally speaking i believe its a lot easier for girls to keep their heads down and stay out of trouble.

Didnt want to make a new thread so do you agree with this list?

Here is a list of things you need to teach your Child(ren) at early age:

1: Warn your Girl Child Never to sit on anyone's laps no matter the situation including uncles.

2: Avoid Getting Dressed in front of your child once he/she is 2 years old. Learn to excuse them or yourself.

3. Never allow any adult refer to your child as 'my wife' or 'my husband'

4. Whenever your child goes out to play with friends make sure you look for a way to find out what kind of play they do, because young people now sexually abuse themselves.

5. Never force your child to visit any adult he or she is not comfortable with and also be observant if your child becomes too fond of a particular adult.

6. Once a very lively child suddenly becomes withdrawn you may need to patiently ask lots of questions from your child.

7. Carefully educate your grown ups about the right values of sex . If you don't, the society will teach them the wrong values.

8: It is always advisable you go through any new Material like cartoons you just bought for them before they start seeing it themselves.

9. Ensure you activate parental controls on your cable networks and advice your friends especially those your child(ren) visit(s) often.

10. Teach your 3 year olds how to wash their private parts properly and warn them never to allow anyone touch those areas and that
includes you (remember, charity begins from home and with you).

11: Blacklist some materials/associates you think could threaten the sanity of your child (this includes music, movies and even friends and families).

12. Let your child(ren) understand the value of standing out of the
crowd.

13: Once your child complains about a particular person, don't keep quiet about it.

Take up the case and show them you can defend them.

Remember, we are either parents or parents-to-be.

Have a Nice day and Great Week Ahead

And possible forward to all friends who have children's

As a parent I hardly do any of those (apart from the common sense ones)

I think sometimes its better to be reactive than over cautious, especially if you are good at reading the tell tale signs, otherwise it starts to become obsessive

my opinion anyway

co-sign the 2 above

utter bullshit and screams of being written by some undercover deev or a pedo who considers himself reformed.

any half decent parents will know how to deal with these situations anyway and i think most of us are cautious of pedo behaviour anyway.

For those disagreeing with 10. You should look at this campaign from nspcc.
I dno what u find wrong with number 10. You are going to have to teach your child to wash their privates properly anyway
disagree with the bit that says "that includes you". Shouldn't have to warn your cchild from yourself

10 was dumb cos 1, who would let someone else wash their kids private parts? 2, they cant tell me teach them to wash their private parts at 3, ill do it when the time is right just like potty training, feed themselves etc kids advance at different ages, and 3, if i need to wash my kids private parts beyond 3 then i should be able to without questioning myself whether its perverted or wrong.
