ud have to sit and listen very hard to every single thing thats goin on, and tbh you dont and its not exactly terrible to listen to, they both sound the same if one track was 320 on ur ipod and another was 128 u wouldnt even bat an eyelid

CDQ from legit cds unless it's a choon i absolutely cannot get on CD ( which usually means uk music not officially released )

i just feel sorry for a man who can't enjoy a 192 kbps song on his ipod coz he can hear some quality difference no one else hears, and ends up wastin bare un needed space and havin half as many songs ( no maths expert comments, You know what i mean [ in fact You don't, so i mean 0.4 times less music ] for the Esquilax's among us )

and most man that are going to go on like this will also be listening with a flat equaliser for pure sound aswell as the hardware setup. Having a set of logitech speakers with bloated after effects added on is not the ideal set up to judge detail on anything really.

yeh you could technically encode a 128 into a 320, but you would'nt gain back what you lost after making it 128 in the first place, so thats basically pointless

you can't upgrade the bit rate of a song, once it has been encoded as an mp3, say at 192 it will only ever sound that good, you can turn it into a wav or .aiff file but it will still sound the same
