So let's debate...

It seems like whenever girls are mentioned or pictures posted, more guys here favour the lighter skinned sisters.

Not only that but you hear it throughout grime as well - some of these MCs can be the UGLIEST bastards out there (not naming no names) but they always boast about about bagging bare lighty's.

Now come on, girls don't have a choice what skin colour they're born with - yet it seems the lighter the better

This is it. Most people subconsciously correlate dark skim to manliness and light skin to femininity. This is one reason certain man will pick the light option every time. There's this underlying notion that dark skinned women look like men and have male characteristics such as being aggressive. It's not true though just buying into that slave mentality.
