why are his actions not clever? i see logic behind wikileaks

Transparency in government being a norm = People going into government not being businessmen in politicians clothing

/

Transparency in business being a norm = Honest businesses taking the advantage (for once)

Yes i do see threat to human life, as in the threat to certain humans lifestyles due to the means to what they have gained being revealed.

Yes i do see it as a breeding ground for hatred, as in the hatred for the corrupt figures and businesses revealed by wikileaks.

/

No, it's not a threat to human life, the articles are carefully redacted so not to put to peoples lives in danger

No, it's a breeding ground for truth, and for unity through our common interests

If we live in a society where the truth is dangerous, then we are all living a f*ck*ng lie.

somethings are better left unsaid, its nothing new life isnt all fairys and roses.

the last thing we all need is good for nothing snoops, bringing it to the attention of the modern day outrage gang.

I wouldn't say so

It revealed

Iraqi civilians used as human bomb detectors

Scientists manipulated global warming date to make it seem more consequential

Hundreds of signifigant Afghan war incidents that were covered up

Many of these caused the UN to launch investigations into human rights violations

220 cases of UN peace keepers raping and impregnating young girls in the DPRC

That a number of countries were using child pornography bogusly as an excuse to censor legit websites

lets not forget the vid of the chopper killing innocent civilians and children in Iraq

plus countless more atrocities and lies

The problem isnt that people are outraged by such things, its that such things happen, and when they do, they should be brought to light

outrage is the appropriate response to something awful happening

Really do not know what you are on about mate

Agree with all this, but the leaks about personal comments made by individuals (eg Obama's "lightweight" comment) are unnecessary and were clearly leaked just to embarrass people

Sorry but i dont buy the whole atrocities bandwagon, War is hell as they say and sh*t happens, if our chaps are kept out of the sh*t due to so called "innocents" being killed then so be it. My heads buried nowhere, if any thing people like yourselves are out of touch with reality.
