Marcelo and Ronaldo passed a 'secret' fitness test yesterday and will be in the squad. Benzema is officially discarded because of the injury. Sounds like Bale is going to make it as well which is great news for the tie.

Harry Redknapp expects Gareth Bale to be fit to face Real Madrid in the first leg of our Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday night.Speaking at the Bernabeu this evening (Monday), the manager said Gareth should 'be fine' after overcoming a hamstring injury."He's going to train tonight and if he's okay, he will play," said Harry. There was also good news on William Gallas in that the defender has made the trip out to Spain and will also train this evening. "We're hoping he's going to be fit."However, Steven Pienaar hasn't made the trip because of a groin injury and Niko Kranjcar is a late doubt after picking up a foot injury against Wigan on Saturday.Tom Huddlestone - back on the bench at Wigan - is in the squad but Alan Hutton (knee) Ledley King (groin), Jonathan Woodgate (groin), Younes Kaboul (thigh) and Wilson Palacios (knee) remain sidelined.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been included in the Real Madrid squad for Tuesday's UEFA Champions League clash against Tottenham.Former Manchester United star Ronaldo had been a major doubt for the first-leg of the quarter-final tie at the Bernabeu after picking up a hamstring injury against Atletico Madrid last month.Real boss Jose Mourinho revealed earlier on Monday he might take a risk on Ronaldo's fitness and after the attacker came through training unscathed Mourinho has included Ronaldo in his 19-man squad to take on Spurs.Triple boostAlso named in the squad are Brazil duo Kaka and Marcelo and Argentine winger Angel Di Maria who were all fitness doubts for the game.Full-back Marcelo picked up a rib injury while on international duty, while Kaka has been absent since late February with a knee injury and Di Maria suffered a knock in the shock weekend defeat to Sporting Gijon.Gonzalo Higuain has also been included in the squad after making a successful return from back surgery in the defeat to Sporting. However, Karim Benzema is missing after the striker picked up a hamstring injury on international duty with France last week.Midfield duo Fernando Gago and Pedro Leon are also missing through injury, while Raul Albiol and Sergio Canales have been left out of the squad.

Thing with Crouch is he has been effective so far because the teams and defenses Totty have faced did not know what to do with him but tommorow he will be playing against someone who has played against him numerous times in Carvalho and against a manager who will have in-depth info on him to control him in Mourinho.Going to be very interesting wonder if Harry will go all out to get as many away goals as possible or try keep it tight like MilanExpecting very big things again from Sandro 2moro and BAE and Modric, VDV also has a lot of prove 2moro to himself and to the Real board Cant wait :D

VDV needs to pick his game up tbh.Only definate starters should be Gomes, Gallas, Benny, Sandro and Modric. f*ck the rest.
yeah hes been very poor recently. started off well against west ham and then just switched off. In other circumstances id say go for a fit Hudd Sandro, Lennon Modric Bale, Crouch, but hes gotta be up for it at the bernebau, hell want to prove something... and with hudd not match fit...

RM squad for tomorrow: Casillas, Dudek, AdánSergio Ramos, Arbeloa, Pepe, Carvalho, Marcelo, Garay Khedira, Lass, Xabi Alonso, Özil, Granero, Di María, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaká Adebayor e HiguaínShocked that Kaka is in the squad. There were even rumours he wouldn't play again this season. He has not played in ages not really sure what use he will be. Also quite odd that Albiol has been left out by 'managers decision'. Probably punishing him for the goal against Sporting even though it was Pepe and Carvalho who didn't bother to close down De las Cuevas. :D

A few reports are coming through that it's getting a bit tense out there with the police. My mate text me to say there was a bit of confrontation with the police that stemmed from nothing. A few people on twitter are saying similar.Looks like it gonna be a repeat of Seville, Spanish pigs.
