Gilad Shalit prisoner swap deal reached

Israeli and Hamas officials have reached a deal that would secure release of the Israeli soldier in the next few days

Israeli and Hamas officials agreed a prisoner swap deal to secure the release of the Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who has been held in captivity in the Gaza Strip by Hamas for five years.

Following an emergency cabinet meeting last night the Israeli prime minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, made a nationally televised announcement to say the historic deal had been struck. Under the terms of the deal Israel will release 1,000 Palestinian prisoners.

Louisiana prohibits residents from using cash when buying, selling secondhand goods

House Bill 195 of the 2011 Regular Session (Act 389), which was recently passed by the state legislature and signed into law by Gov. Bobby Jindal, prohibits anyone who "buys, sells, trades or otherwise acquires or disposes of junk or used or secondhand property [from entering] into any cash transactions in payment for the purchase of [such items]."

Besides prohibiting the use of cash, the law also requires such "dealers" to collect personal information like name, address, driver's license number, and license plate number from every single customer, and submit it to authorities. And the only acceptable form of payment in such situations is a personal check, money order, or electronic transfer, all of which must be carefully documented.

Anyone noticed the papers and news proper pushing this overpopulation crap?

basically saying we need to reduce the number of elderly people because they are living too long and they will be useless and a burden on society.

so how do they propose to increase mortality rates?
