TS1 Helpdesk Analyst

worth doing CompTIA A+/network+? or did you go straight to CCNA?

i did computer science at uni didnt want to go into programming

sort of fell into this

doin the CCNA to get OUT of it ideally into juniour network admin some place and work my way up from there

but to answer your Q - Ive heard of A+ being good for networking basics

at the end of the day experience > certification

Skola I want to work as a quantitative analyst in an investment bank

The thing is besides all the maths I have to know they want me to be able to know C++ programming, for modelling stuff, where and for how much could I do a course in this?

I've no idea tbh but someone else on here might.

Its not easy from what Ive heard.

There no doubt books and websites where you can pick up the basics, depends how much they want you to know.

Also local colleges and uni's will run short courses/evening classes.
