There was a pic of that young british tennis btich doing this in the Metro, didn't understand it until now.

Also I think there are dancers planking in shifts for a work of art in the TATE (also read in the metro) possibly the start of all this?

*Wonders if he can become the new Banksy taking pictures of planks in impossible places across landmarks London-wide , organising peace planks, and planks of art*

*wonders how long it is till someone dies from planking, and the british media put a negative shade over the activity and assign blame to various inner london gangs and portray planking in such a way that is connotated to bandanas, hoodies, crime and hooliganisms with stories of Mrs Partridge from Watford who's bush was ambushed and brutally destroyed buy a new wave of thrill seeking plankers*
