Summed up a few pages back but basically;

 

1. Make sure you have a dish facing the SKY channels

2. Buy an Openbox S10 or similar box

3. Connect to a router

4. Get a subscription off a cardsharing server; if its recommended they can give deals otherwise rolling monthly

5. Follow the below instructions for the Openbox Setup:

set up was easy the test line i had dude sent me the CCcam file i uploaded it and way live

Right most of these boxes i have brought have been pre flashed and where it says channel fav file attached it isnt as there is 2 brilliant ones on here

Connect it up hdmi / scart to tv
Sat cable on the in connection not loop
Lan cable to modem / router or wifibridge configured

Next lets get some channels

this is just for 28.2E (skyuk) but you can select others

Press MENU on your controller and go to the icon of a sat dish
The Satellite List put a tick (press ok) on 28.2E then press exit
Still on satellite section choose single satellite scan (if doing more than 28 choose multiple)
Once in there make sure :-

Fta Only is on No
Scan Channel TV + Radio
Scan Mode Blind Scan
Then press ok on search

Once done exit again thats your channels on But the $ ones say scrambled you need a c line from mbox or galaxy or who ever you choose ?

Get the details and save in a text doc as CCcam.cgf now put that on the root of your usb stick
Why your there you can add also if you want the favourite organiser file TP_PROG.dbs whats attached to put all your channels in groups of movies ect But once on the will be FAV1 and Fav2 Ect you need to name them as the following

1. Entertainment
2. Movies
3. Sports / News
4. Music
5. Lifestyle & Culture
6. Documentries
7. Kids
8. HD Channels
9. Red Button / Interactive
10. Shopping
11. Adult

This is done once you have put the file on your box by going menu The Tv icon and favourite and press ok and do as it says on screen to rename

Right you have all files what you need the 2 put them on your usb stick root and put it in your s10 / s11 it will pick it up

Now go menu again but this time go to tools icon and choose Upgrade by usb
Upgrade Mode MISC Files
Then press ok on select file

Press OK On the top one tp_prog then press yellow this will update your fav groups by the file you put on once complete exit and turn off the box and back on thats done

Now you can edit faurite names as mentioned above once done lets set up the ccam go menu and to the globe

First of all go to Network setup and turn dhcp on and apply then exit

Then go to cccam client setup
Update files from usb press ok on CCcam.cfg and then press yellow it will add that file once done in same menu choose Mangage config files and press ok on CCcam and press ok on all lines what you just put there they all should have a tick now then press exit turn of the box

Now turn it back on and all channels should work and you should now be Happy i hope this guide has made it easy for you as i didnt have a guide and had to learn my self

P.S The attached file needs to be unzipped you dont want the . zip you want the file inside on your stick

Second p.s.s just adding as forgot at first subtitles will be turned on press subtitle button on controller and press OK on off ENJOY

Edit CCcam+ Newcamd accounts & MGcamd Plug setting.

CS share protocol settings.

Edit CCcam+Newcamd accounts:

1. Prepare an available Cccam code and select it, as following code format：



C: test.dm700.com 63001 ah4Cf5hCh e85e1104D yes

N: test.dm800.com 12000 user1008 password102 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

2. Use Wordpad to open “Cccam.CFG” file , and copy the available code into the wordpad and save it.

3. Then copy the Cccam.CFG file with available code into your U disk root list.

4. Connect the USB driver with the HD model’s usb port.

5. Press "menu" into Cccam setting ,select Cccam Plug Setting and OK.


6. Select read CCcam.cfg From USB and press OK.


7. After read the available code ,please select Account Management and press OK.




8. You can select maximum 4 CCcam accounts at one time, but for newcamd accounts not be limited.
After activate the sharing accounts.

9. For MGcamd Plug setting.

Our enable Mgcamd protocol for patch CCcam.
Some channels for Europe , the channels decoded don`t use actual CAID, but used other CAID, so our need a replace.list to patch the actual CAID to other.



10.Edit and Copy the replace.lst and Ignore list to U disk root list, then press " update replace.list by USB device or Update ignore.list by USB device" to load the files and save the files to STB.













11. Twin protocol:


Twin protocol is satellite share protocol, user need a satellite dongle connect with serial cable RS232 to the STB`s Serial prot. Then select "ON" the function.










12. Network Local settings:

Select Network Local Setting and press OK.






13. At DHCP select “ON” and then select “Apply “ press OK.




14. When everything is ready ,please press “Standby” ,then reboot the model again.
So the sharing setting is now finished.

I think as long as u have the dish facing the sky satellite then u can.

You'll be fine. Unless sky came around and physically took your dish down, you'll be fine.

If you get the DM500 make sure it ain't the early ones cos they weren't HD and there's alot of boog copies about of the Dreamboxes so make sure you get it legit. Aldo check how you connect to it, cos the early ones needed some weird kinda cable to hookup and edit files.

got it all sorted ...so glad im fucking good at wiring. Had a wire for my internet running from downstairs thru virgin media into my room...took the router out my room put a spliter downstairs...used the wire already wired underneath the laminate flooring upstairs and connected it through the sky dish port. 

 

Got some powerline plugs (advised by mr braund) and plugged one into the router which is now downstairs and the other upstairs...perfect
