as its catching up to the books it means they have to slow things down or go off on a different path (which never works out well does it?)

Cant speak for the books but they cant rely on a formula of having 8 episodes of shit build up story episodes and 2 good ones in the end...thats pure mugging 

 

Worked last season but now its just dragging.

 

I find myself starting a scene and thinking this is boring, I am really not interested in this part etc

I watched the first 6 in one go, it was great

 

had to wait a week for the 7th and it was underwhelming

Its starting to get formulaic. Slow moving for 7 episodes, building up to a big fight/war in ep 9, someone dies, then ep 10 sows the seeds for the next season. Rinse & repeat.

Just don't feel the anticipation is rewarded with the episodes, they keep failing to deliver. Even the ending at the last episode wasn't enough to inspire excitement for whats to come. Stannis and the Boltons are the only thing keeping me watching this show at the moment.

Season needs more Arya and its disappointing the stark boys are not involved at all tbh

Defo needs more Arya. Probably my fave character. And the way the last season ended you would have thought there would be at least something about young Stark. End of this season has to explode into action. Don't see how though.
