How Long Till Man City Fall Apart From The Inside

Noway they can have so many personalities and such a big talented squad and not reach a point when shit hits the fan

Its a shame the Tevez thing was nipped in the bud but this week...

for failing a drugs test within seven days.

The Ivorian faced a disciplinary hearing on Monday after being charged with gross misconduct in the summer over his positive test for a banned substance which was present in one of his wife’s water tablets.

Kolo received a six-month FA ban for failing the test, which took place in February, and returned to action last month.

But the club also instigated a charge against the player, standard procedure in such a case, and on Monday Toure’s case was heard by chief football operations officer Brian Marwood and club lawyer Simon Cliff.

City now have seven days to inform the player of his punishment, which is likely to include a fine of from two to six weeks’ wages – somewhere between £235,000 and £705,000.

Players’ chief Gordon Taylor accompanied Toure to the hearing but, unlike the Carlos Tevez case, he would be powerless to prevent City imposing a fine of six weeks’ wages, as that is the maximum agreed with the PFA for a gross misconduct charge.

The Professional Footballers’ Association chief executive later criticised City’s decision to hold a disciplinary hearing.

Taylor said: “It just seems strange that after being welcomed back to the club, reinstated as captain for Carling Cup matches, that someone has come up with this hearing.

“Instead of sending out a message that this is someone who has made a mistake and served his punishment already, they are now taking action against him again.”

City’s chief communications officer Vicky Kloss said: “It is not a new decision – we had consultations with the PFA about this in July.”

The Blues are also considering withholding some, or all, of Toure’s image rights, worth as much as £1.5m.

The club argues that Toure’s image was tarnished by the positive drugs test, so making that part of his salary paid over as image rights null and void.

Hopefully they come down hard and this causes a bit of friction and maybe even Yaya gets unsettled by it when Kolo likely moves to PSG in january, but that is probably just dreaming.

It has been too good to be true so far, how Mancini deals with it will show how good he really is. Also he is saying if Tevez says sorry all will be forgiven, and if Tevez gets another chance comes in and does a madness Ballo is demoted again and will defo make a scene

KMT who says they will?

And if "the biggest club in the world" or the fans of said club are hoping their rivals implode in order to achieve success well something is wrong.

City's reign (if they go onto have one) will end when Fergie works them out and ends it. As is the pattern,

I for one hope they don't implode as beating them while they are fully functional will be a whole lot better,

Just like our run to the treble, we went up against the top teams in Europe and got by them, Barca, Bayern, Inter, Juve. same as in the FA cup,

Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle.

I'd always prefer to win based on our own merits rather than the implosion if others.

Not really,

Inter got by Barca,

And others will to, same as City, not particularly gown to Star players.

When Blackburn won the league in 95 and Fergie proceeded to bring through kids and sell some stars....

Javier Hernandez wasn't a star neither were Smalling Jones Cleverly or Welbeck,

The time will come when Barca fall, Chelsea were a beast in the league then.....

I don't even think Barca will ever buck this trend of clubs not being able to retain the CL. Despite comfortably being the best team.
