its a sad situation cos africa desperately needs this foreign investment, but these foreign investors seems to go to africa with the aim of giving the bare minimum back, there should be some sort of ethics committee or organisation put in place to oversee the projects to ensure the workers and locals get a fair amount back while it still being attractive for foreigners to invest, im sure this would save western governments a huge amount in food aid if the people became more self sufficient through fair foreign investment.
