You guys rate velveteen dream? I think he is great.

His attire >>>

At first I was like "WTF is this fake Prince gimmick" then he had the feud and Takeover match with Aleister Black a year ago and since then I've been impressed with his ring psychology and matches especially at Takeover PPVs. Think it will be an uphill battle for him once he has to deal with Vince and the creative team on the main roster.

All Elite Wrestling, LLC has filed several trademarks in the past week or so and the trademarks certainly give more credibility to the rumored wrestling promotion headed by Tony Khan, the co-owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars. For those of you that have not kept up with this story, the rumor is that Jim Ross, Chris Jericho, The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, Marty Scurll, Hangman Page and Kenny Omega would be part of the company.

The following trademarks were filed within the last week by All Elite Wrestling, LLC:

– AEW Double Or Nothing
– AEW All Out
– AEW
– Tuesday Night Dynamite
– ALL OUT
– Double Or Nothing
– All Elite Wrestling

Double Or Nothing is the rumored name for the next All In pay-per-view. The idea is to run the show in Las Vegas, NV. There’s been talk of All In 3 happening on Labor Day. Tuesday Night Dynamite could be a sign that they have a weekly TV deal lined up.

According to the trademark filings, All Elite Wrestling, LLC is based out of Jacksonville, FL. That would also align with the rumors about the Khan family being involved.

All Elite Wrestling, LLC is registered to an address at 1 TIAA Bank Field Drive in Jacksonville. That address just happens to be the address of the stadium for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The stadium is owned by Shad Khan.

Jericho has issued a denial but it’s Jericho and you will never get him to confirm a story like this unless he is legally able to and with approval from the owner.

Jim Ross basically gave a semi-denial on his podcast and The Elite has stayed quiet about the rumors. If everything goes as planned, WWE could have a major wrestling company against them. It would be the first major competition for them since WCW died in 2001.

PLEASE let this happen! Also, the UK need to be on the case, not beg the septic tanks, but have their own style.

There will indeed be a new player inserted into the professional wrestling landscape in 2019. As the clock struck midnight Tuesday on the West Coast, rumors of the All Elite Wresting promotion were confirmed as legitimate by "Elite" members Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks and "Hangman" Adam Page on a special edition of the group's YouTube series "Being The Elite."

What's more, the first major event under the promotion's banner will be dubbed "Double or Nothing," which will serve as a follow-up to the wildly successful "All In" show that took place back on Sep. 1, 2018, and sold over 10,000 seats at the Sears Centre in Chicago.

Shortly after the announcement on Tuesday, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer provided some more information on the new promotion, some of which was previously rumored. Tony Khan, the son of Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan, will be the money man behind the organization. As for stars signed to AEW, at this time that list includes Rhodes and potentially none others. The Young Bucks, who along with Rhodes are the driving forces behind AEW, are obviously expected to sign shortly, as are many of the familiar names that are cast regularly on "Being the Elite." Furthermore, AEW does not have a television deal secured at this time, though Meltzer did note that there are multiple offers on the table to provide air time as some were reportedly impressed with the success of "All In" last September.

Details are scarce at the current time until that press conference, but much of the pro wrestling world may know all it needs to following this blockbuster announcement: The Elite spurned WWE, which reportedly offered them lucrative deals to debut in 2019, and are headed to see just how far they can run with the ball this year and beyond.

I see people comparing the Chinese signings similar to when Bischoff introduced the light heavyweights to WCW.

AEW is what is needed. With there only really being one brand that can actually compete just leads to stagnation

I see that title as a secondary title to the universal. Same way the World Championship was to the WWE a decade  back.

Came across this interesting video about the black champion few weeks back.

The Rock even weighed in the debate, because so many saying he is not black at all now. Black people really need to stop this victim mentality having to be the under dog
