for what he has spent and the dire form of the top 4 sides this season if Citeh dont win the league Mancini has to walk, he has to
the fact that Mancini is having to swallow his pride and play Tevez says it all really

Benicio del Toney
FA Cup is major.
This is his first season with City in Europe so gotta cut him a break.
He has also jumped leaps and bounds with Man City in the league from last year, they were fighting for Champions League this time last year, now they are fighting for the title, there is an obvious improvement.
He needs another year I'd say.

I rate Parker, but that list pissed man off differently. Modric should be after Yaya.

Prem/CL
FA Cup
League Cup
In that order in terms of importance.
I don't believe the Man City board would deem just an FA Cup in 2 years acceptable

Mancini
For me it's simple - he just isn't a very good manager and lacks the all-round skillset that a top manager needs. He has some good points, but also some major failings in all the key areas of man management, tactics, media handling, personality, etc.
Yet again after this game he says 'it's my fault, I underestimated Sporting. I thought they would be easy after playing Porto'. WTF!!! If that's true, it's inexcusable (especially after he already did this in the Everton game). If he's just making it up to protect his players, it's a stupidly naive thing to say - why not just say it was my mistake tactically or something? Rather than admit he did not take the opponent seriously in a European knockout tie. That's an insult to the opponents, and to your fans.
He's far too strong a personality and jumps to impulsive decisions and makes spur of the moment comments that hurt him. There was the infamous "I resign" after Inter lost to Liverpool, and this season, he goes from "Tevez will never play for this club again" in the post-match press conference, to Tevez now becoming their potential saviour in the title race.
Tactically also he blows hot and cold just like his man management. Some isolated decisions are very good, some are just baffling. For example, I actually thought his plan in the 2-0 defeat to Bayern was a sensible one - even though you're 2-0 down already, bring on a DM to stabilise the game a bit and stop the bleeding, then throw on a striker for the last 15-20 mins and hope to salvage something once the team has gathered calmness. But apart from these isolated moments, I don't see his team having a clear identity or style. They started the season in full attacking glory and we thought he's turned a corner. Now they've descended to a shadow of that, with Silva and Toure (2 of their key players) constantly being shuffled around instead of being in their best position.
Added to all this, over the past 2 years there have been so many reports of bust-ups in the City squad, players complaining of excessive training burdens (perhaps this has something to do with their current fatigue), and so on. I'm sure more of this will come out now that things are not going smoothly on the pitch.
His fan club claims his biggest strength is that he builds 'lean, mean, sexy, league-winning machines'. Well, this City team is definitely not any of the first 3 adjectives in that statement. I still think they are 60-40 to win the league, but just like at Inter, it will be almost by default, due to some huge factors helping him along (this time: the most expensive squad in Europe, and the weakest Premier League in a long time). I just don't see how you can rate someone as a top manager with all these flaws.
