Thirty Thousand

Scenario,

If the Government scrapped University funding and gave the parents of every 16 year old £30,000 on the day they turned sixteen with freedom to spend on what ever you feel necessary, how many of you would have paid the full amount for your education? how do you think this would improve or weaken the economy theoretically?

Personally I think the jobs market would improve with better graduate opportunities and more entrepreneurial adventurists opening up a wave of opportunities.

Obviously this is fantasy land but worth a discussion.

To be honest with you, I wouldn't have spent £30,000 in full for my Education which defeats the point of me borrowing for one now especially in a tougher and limited economy.
