Tbh I agree with this in principle. If you have a FT job and need some help towards your rent etc then cool. But you shouldnt be able to leave home and have a free roof over your head even though you've never worked and have no intention of working. That's a pisstake.

Regardless of if they are receiving housing benefits, they will still pay for gas and electricity, plus the mobility to look for work so that is at least 25 pounds a week for a travel card.

You're misunderstanding the problem. There are certain people who pay rent, bills, food travel etc all by themselves and work a 40+ hour week. After all their expenses They have the same £10 to "splurge" as certain dons who sit home and blaze all day. That's not right.

You're misunderstanding the problem. There are certain people who pay rent, bills, food travel etc all by themselves and work a 40+ hour week. After all their expenses They have the same £10 to "splurge" as certain dons who sit home and blaze all day. That's not right.

It's not right but to me it says there's more a problem related to the average wage/ cost of living than the mentality of someone who isn't working.
