Getting one over on the system to save a bit of change is one thing, being like Amazon and paying 0 tax on £7 billion of profits is an entirely different thing altogether.

The system is the problem but these man are taking the piss, these corps are receiving all the pros of operating in this country without the most obvious con.

You think you can come to my yard every day to fill your belly and then duck out when it's time to do the dishes?

:lmao:

Boy, if you allow your bredrin to do then that's on you.

The Govt need to tighten up the laws.

No one single person has owed a trillion tho, guys are getting a bit carried away its spread over a lot of people.

You man are completely misunderstanding what's going on

You man are nit-picking

Trillion - Billion - Million

We're talking about the wealthy that this applies to

lol @ wouldn't do the same..

doesn't matter how much money/wealth you have, the only thing you should be thinking is how to get/keep more of it, moretime it's the thought process that got you that wealth in the first place..

they might be millionaires but you have to look at it as a percentage, if you could skip paying your 20% of your 25k a year job then you would.. these man might make a lot more but the percentages aren't only the same but a lot higher, ofcourse they're going to find loopholes to keep more money.

and lol @ not wanting to be a millionaire

Green lives here, he is married to a South African woman who lives in Monaco, she is not a UK resident.

He put his businesses in his wife's name (brave man for that alone)

He named himself CEO, he lives and works here, when the company was about to announce record profits, he took out a loan of over a billion in the companies name, then arranged to pay out over a billion to shareholders, knowing his wife owns 92% of the shares... In effect paying himself/his family 1.2 billion. The interest charges on the loan had to be offset against the company profits which then reduced the forthcoming corporation tax bill.

Whatever way you look at it he saved his company paying 285m in tax and the company still paid tax to this country but a way smaller amount, yet still WAY more than the people complaining about him will ever pay in their lives, let alone a year.

He did the same recently, as he made the company post losses from profit, making the tax bill drop from 70m to 2.8m, meanwhile the accounts showed he repaid a loan to his wife of 16m and had many other dubious loss makers.

Philip Green pays his personal tax bill, if he didnt he'd be in jail for evasion.

Do you really think that can happen though, TF...

I doubt it! The guy is too big to fail, this is a man who consults the PM, is cutting costs for the government, and owns a huge company employing loads of people, he is never going to get shift in this lifetime.

He can't get shift as he is doing nothing illegal, you can argue the morals, but its not illegal.

In 2005, when he did the 1.2billion thing, Labour ran the country and Camron wasn't the leader of the Conservative party.

lambos uno, these guys aint rappers

lots of gd points in here but end of the day

you really think people become business people to giveaway? They do it so they can earn money without having to work for somebody.

c/s profit on individuals not actually owning trillions but i done some math out of curiosity

split 13 trillion a million ways everyone gets thirteen million

split it 500,000 ways you get 26 mill

100,000 ways you get 130 mill

10,000 ways you get one billion three hundred million

1,000 ways you get thirteen billion

split it 100 ways.. one hundred and thirty billion

Paying a cleaner in cash 'is morally wrong': Minister says families who settle bills cash-in-hand are as bad as tax avoiders

Tory Minister David Gauke, Exchequer Secretary, spoke out as he gave a speech outlining plans to name and shame those who engage in aggressive tax avoidance schemes to avoid paying their fair share.

Martinez is confused

When ur broke and bump the system its kl, but once u attain wealth ur attitude and personality must change?

no

you're confused

prime minister finally starts to frame a debate around the immorality behind the very richest hiding their infinite amount of money in tax havens around the world

his treasury minister then comes out a few weeks later and gets the ball rolling on measures to stop cleaners and builders getting paid cash in hand.

What does this tell you...

David Cameron is talking morally for the country, in essence he is just PR point scoring.

Yet the treasury see it for what it is, yes the haven guys rob us, but what they pay too is more than many will ever pay and legally they do nothing wrong (plus they employ hundreds of thousands who they then tax too), where as some of these cleaners and builders not only not pay there way, they even take too, something which is illegal.

i was wikipedia hopping, as usual, dont even know where i started off, but clicking links and shit i end up in some vortex and read next shit

anyways found this

The black money market situation in India is epidemic. India currently tops the list for illegal monies in the entire world, estimated to be almost US$1,456 billion stored in Swiss banks (USD 1.4 trillion approximately) in the form of unaccounted money.[32] According to the data provided by the Swiss Banking Association, India has more black money than the rest of the world combined.[33][34] Indian Swiss bank account assets are worth 13 times (1300%) the country’s national debt, and, if this black money is seized and brought back to the country, India has the potential to become one of the richest countries in the world.[35]

"f*ck the bankers"

like you wouldn't be loving life if you was in their shoes.

not everyone lives for money though

some people are caring and compassionate

others are individualistic and only care about happiness sourced from money

arrogant to say what people would do in this situations, like bill gates isnt one of the biggest charity doners
