speakers on this are OK you know

proper havent even used them cause on flat screens theyre usually sh*t, been using my sound system, but im usuaing the smart TV feature and have to use the TV speakers and they have some bass to them you know, playing some youtube vids and sh*t, not as good as the surround setup, but still good

i think it should be ok becuase i dont really use full hd

I got a 4 year old 32" Sony Bravia and looking to upgrade.

 

Don't need any of this smart TV business as I have just built a brand new HTPC running XBMC. Is it worth spending the extra on the 3D TV or just keep it simple?

 

Looking at 40"+ at the moment. Should I also be going down the LED or stick with Plasma?

tbh 3-D is anti climax... like between 32-40 go for a led 42 plus hit up a plasma....if you by a 3-D  you'll be mugging yourself off its not worth it trust

Yeah I just bought a passive 3d set and can't really use as it makes me feel sick after a couple minutes use.

Smart is definitely not worth it especially if you have a ps3 and sky

3D is still in the early stages, like HD was 9/10 years ago

 

may not be for you, but if you can get the content right now (3D bluray, sky 3D) then go for it, or you can wait a few years for broadcasters to get in the game and streaming to catch up

I have a 3d telly don't ever really use it for the 3d but every time someone comes to my yard they always comment on how clear the quality is normally.

Tbh all the better TVs are 3d smart anyway

If u got the p jus grab a boom tv weather u will use the full features or not
