Mac OS on Windows Laptop

If you have a good laptop (e.g Dual core, 4gb or more Ram) you can virtualise Mac on your laptop using VirtualBox. Basically have Windows as your main booting operating system and have Mac in windowed mode.

Looks a bit like this (you can have it full screen as well so its seamless):

SnowLeopard.jpg

The laptop hardware resources (RAM, video graphics etc) used in this method depends on how much you provide the Mac virtual machine in the settings - not really recommended if you are looking to use both simultaneously with high processes running on one or both operating systems.

Or If you want to use your full hardware resource on a Mac operating system you can have a dual boot laptop where you can select which operating system you want to boot up after you turn on your laptop.

Imo try the VirtualBox way first and see how it goes.

Could look into a hackintosh if you got the funds.

Its not about the funds, its about the compatibility of his hardware.

Just look up your laptop model on the Hackintosh websites and there should be a guide to installation, the download the OS from wherever.
