Mate the VW deal completely changed 50, what are you on. He wasn't seen as a business before that, he was just another new guy with a big tune.

Guy was happy getting bought Hublots by Dre and blagging a $1m advance, them suddenly he's seeing a ridiculous return on a tiny investment at the same time as his career was peaking. Next came the Reebok deal, the clothes, the Robert Greene endorsement, films, books, speaking tours, world wide tours....but that deal was his best flip ever.

It was that deal that turned him from heavyweight to super heavy weight, G Unit clothes flopped, books flopped, G Unit the label flopped, (in the end), Reebok now have RR and Meek Mill, headphones flopped the film was great but it was no 8 mile.

But it was the vitamin water that allowed him and continues to allow him to talk that talk, he got a stake init from letting them use his brand then the company gets bought for megabucks, he got super rich by accident lol, and he's always the first to praise his business acumen, when he has taken alot of L's

munkeyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Straight. No-one wears G-Unit clothing in 2012 apart from child soldiers and Afroman, 50 just hit a quick lick with it and kept it pushing.

He has taken L's, but he's never really lost any money. All these deals are really an elaborate way for him to pay less money to the IRS, he don't give a f*ck if Olivia's career flopped or if Mazaradi Fox didn't get a hit, his accountants just put that sh*t down under his outgoings. Compare the way he moves to the way someone like Dame Dash moves, you see why he still succeeds.

Dame was out there pushing Rocawear and Armadale like they were some real high fashion brand, he put all his P in and it flopped. This was the era when EVERY rapper was coming out in an interview taling about they were bringing out a 'fashion line' or a beverage. Then he tried to resuscitate some brand called Pro-Keds that got eclipsed by the success of Nike and Adidas in the 80s, and flopped. Then the taxman came knocking.

Meanwhile Jay-Z flipped his stakes and moved onto the next.

Put it this way. Does 50 Cent have a brand that has comparable exposure as a Ciroc or Ace of Spades in 2012?

I ain't seen anyone with anything he's endorsed for about 4 years. You don't need to see numbers, you need to see products.

From time Amazon is telling you 'Customers who bought this Apple iPhones also bought Beats By Dre headphones', you know a brand is doing well.

G Unit records had 3 platnium albums, the group album, lloyd banks and young bucks debuts album, this was all expected due to 50's grind and his own music career being so popular. Fast forward 5 years now, it is a redundant label with no distribution, Lloyd Banks has aired his grievances, 50 cent has aired his saying his tired of helping out. Now consider all the people 50 has signed, how many stars has he made?

G Unit clothes as E pointed out, huge flop.

The films, books, clothes, tours etc is just your normal route of superstardom, from sports to music people do the same aswell. Its obvious, and only becomes great business when you become just as big in that field as you were in your original. 50 hasn't accomplished this. G Unit clothes was no Sean John, G Unit Records is no Bad Boy records, 50 was never close to Jay or Diddy on the forbes list until Pepsi gave him a helping hand.

He basically won the lottery

Props to 50, and I rate the guy, and i liked him until he started doing all that munkey sh*t with Ross.
