You gotta love vip2 sometimes. How dons become ACCA certified when it comes to urban celebrity gross profit/finances.

shut up you arse, it was heavily reported and documented at the time, research for yourself

the internet is your friend

\

and lol @ gross profit/finances lolwtf, no one even mentioned gross profit you twerp

You said all his other business flopped. Based on what numbers?

Put it this way. Does 50 Cent have a brand that has comparable exposure as a Ciroc or Ace of Spades in 2012?

I ain't seen anyone with anything he's endorsed for about 4 years. You don't need to see numbers, you need to see products.

From time Amazon is telling you 'Customers who bought this Apple iPhones also bought Beats By Dre headphones', you know a brand is doing well.

What relevance do ace of spades and ciroc have. Nobody in the hip hop world is even anywhere close to owning them or even taking a large slice of the cake they create.

Ciroc was launched In 2003 by a British alcoholic beverages company based in London called Diageo. Diageo’s brands include Smirnoff, Johnnie Walker, Baileys, Crown Royal, Tanqueray, Guinness and many more. As of December 2011, Diageo was ranked 12th-largest company on the London Stock Exchange.

Diageo was formed in 1997 from the merger of Guinness and Grand Metropolitan. Diageo Also owned Pillsbury and Burger King before selling them both. In late 2007, Diageo inked a marketing deal with Sean “P Diddy” Combs, to push Ciroc an “ultra premium” vodka. According to The Financial Times, Combs gets a 50-50 split of the profits on Ciroc sales.

P Diddy helped brand Cîroc and increased its revenues 131% percent in the US. P Diddy became more than a frontman for Ciroc. In exchange for a 50-50 split of the profits on Ciroc sales, he developed the branding and positioning for the vodka.

In the first six months of 2007, before Diddy signed on, Diageo sold 60,000 cases of Ciroc. The following year, sales grew to approximately 169,000. In the full year ended June 2009, volume spiked to 400,000 cases. Sales rose another 48 per cent in fiscal 2010, according to Diageo’s earnings statements P Diddy receives a double-digit millions annually as a share of profits. Sales of the spirit spiked 122% last year in the wake of strong demand for new flavor Ciroc Peach. P Diddy is entitled to a nine-figure chunk of cash if the flavor Ciroc Peach is ever sold.

Last month Diddy snaps photos of himself and his helicopter landing on the rooftop of Diageo Norwalk’s office building. That’s Big!!

Combs is currently embarking on a European party tour to promote the vodka brand, which is a part of his $100 million marketing deal with the company.

LMFAO at trying to downplay 50's success as a businessman, he isn't relevant as an artist but he knows how to make money.

Selling 3.8 million pairs of sneakers and getting paid $80 million is flopping?

Having a New York best seller is flopping?

Developing a product with a company aimed at a demographic you appeal to is getting rich by accident?

Bear in mind he managed to amass $100 million in less than 5 year and he hasn't even been in the game 10 yet, the only man who can chat to him have been in it nearly 20 years.

tell em

It was that deal that turned him from heavyweight to super heavy weight, G Unit clothes flopped, books flopped, G Unit the label flopped, (in the end), Reebok now have RR and Meek Mill, headphones flopped the film was great but it was no 8 mile.

But it was the vitamin water that allowed him and continues to allow him to talk that talk, he got a stake init from letting them use his brand then the company gets bought for megabucks, he got super rich by accident lol, and he's always the first to praise his business acumen, when he has taken alot of L's

munkeyyyyyyyyyyyyy

GTFOH.

Some of you are forgetting history.

Mate the VW deal completely changed 50, what are you on. He wasn't seen as a business before that, he was just another new guy with a big tune.

Guy was happy getting bought Hublots by Dre and blagging a $1m advance, them suddenly he's seeing a ridiculous return on a tiny investment at the same time as his career was peaking. Next came the Reebok deal, the clothes, the Robert Greene endorsement, films, books, speaking tours, world wide tours....but that deal was his best flip ever.

What is this bullshit?!

50 cent brands are HIS brands.

Jay, Diddy are OPM business men, all they do is endorse. Thats how they move, and thats why they will never make Vitamin Water flips.

Look all these man are not businessmen per say in MY definition of a business you can call your own.

There cheque writers, there like super super super paid executives. There brand managers/marketing companies. Trust me I can't knock their hustle at all, cos they getting the money i dream of, but just remember they making someone else more money than them off them same products. You could argue well thats the way they came into business as the do thats what they do in the music industry that founded them all.

Diddy made Ciroc pop, but he doesn't own it.

Dre doesn't own Dre Beats.

Jay never owned Rocawear.

They all own %'s yes, but where they focus on the OPM philosophy, none of those companies are there, as they become the face and let other people back financially.

Now where I give 50 his props, is he actually does invest his money.

Vitamin Water was in the market place, he bought shares, pushed it, created his own flavour, Coca-Cola saw the company growing and brought the company.

SMS audio, the CEO is 50 Cent. Like he really is listed in most of his companies. You think if we do a Stock search on Ciroc, Diddy's name is coming up?
