Demba Ba

Recommended Posts

was discussing this at work today..

Absolute no brainer imho.. We cant go wrong.

Even though I heard he has a dodgy knee.

But I am pretty sure he can do the business with the shitoffs we have as strikers at the mo.

He does have a dodgy knee, it was why he originally didn't come to the PL when Stoke were after him

He's played pretty regularly (and obviously well) since though

wanted this move but we are so unlucky i can see him blowing his knee up and we have a player on high wages kind of old with injury history on the books

joe cole being a example

Do not want Ba, for some odd reason. We won't play to his strengths.

Rather have Cabaye and Sire Ben Arthur.

Lol It's not a joke either

Ben Aurthur >>>

Beast. I had reservations about him not ever having had a truly consistent season but f*ck it

Arsene should go for him, the creativity on the wings / forward areas is shocking

Cabaye too

But in reality there is only enough funds for BA

You think? If Wenger wanted all three he could HAVE all three.

His problem is shifting the dead weight aka our bench on high wages. Some glorified Aston Villa/O'Neill situation.

Hmm maybe. I can't see in excess of 20m being spent though, even if Rosicky, Arshavin, Chamkh leave

Unless Walcott goes for maybe 15m

But then it'd result in the ever-thin squad still being thin

If Arsenal are backing their manager.

Then the dead wood should be paid off and released January 30th, once their improved replacements have arrived.

All this talk is annoying me. We need an Alex Song replacement. Our three midfield are too similar to play as a unit (until Diaby come back and boses). M'Vila is who we need.

Glad Rosicky is back, guy always wants to go forwards.

As for Demba Ba, not interested, as it makes me think we really don't know what we are doing... Its a kneejerk signing, fits in with this topic tbh.

Ba was available in the summer, which would have made better sense.

He's 27/28, he's gonna want a 5 yr deal 80-95k, and this is for a player we aren't sure on overall ability & fitness.

Wenger won't touch M'Vila for the same reason he didn't Ben Arfa when Marseille wanted rid.

Wenger can't be turning up to talk about the national team, and when the issue of there lack of respect comes up, he's the one that signed the guy who currently is the signal of disrespect.

Someone else will take a punt on M'Vila, he'll mature and then we will look again but not wanna pay the fee.
