i don't think it matters how long you been listening/raving to house as long as you understand the music (although i've done my time i'm certified).

I've had bimbo guys tell me in the rave they don't know what house tunes they like in advance of the tune getting big. anyway i'm out I sound like a stan.

its actually not. was in cargo few weeks back at a deep/tech event and all the cunts we saw were white yolo snapbackers/ essex trash, gurning/screwfacing on 'bumbles', its deeper than race

 

luckily i think the music is good enough to outlast the current buzz, think it helps its an international scene already big in belgium france brazil etc etc

I was listening to House music in the early nineties, my cousin Sugar K (R.I.P) was spinning that shit from day. Flashback, Entice FM (before it was ontop) and every other pirate station going, Tipper can confirm.

 

This means I was on the bandwagon long before most of you guys complaining even knew what music was. And I have no problem with people shuffling, wearing funky clothes or doing whatever they want as long as GOOD MUSIC still exists. I don't understand how can people get so precious over it, people complaining about Shuffling is much more ridiculous then shuffling itself how can there be rules governing how you're supposed to dance to electronic beats!

If someone busses skanks in the rave I couldn't care less as long as they're doing it in a manner which is respectable to others around them. Any dance you go to there's gonna be people eho go that step further on the dancefloor. Went Corsica Studios the other day and everyone was shuffling, didn't care. Just vibesed with my bu and coke.

My only grievance and worry is not that it'll become bait, just that the music may change as producers take the money route and cater to the crowd of this'Disclosure generation'.

the long and short of this is that a big majority (like myself and others that know good house music) go to these events cause we LOVE HOUSE.

It's a movement thing (no pretentiousness) and often we are going to see a dj play. I'm all for new people to jump on the wagon congrates you learnt about

good music but don't try so hard. House isn't about wearing cool clothes and doing stupid dances its about vibing to some good fucking house music

and the mofos that are rolling through with all their baitness don't understand this.

I can't even act like I am an OG fan I only really got involved a few years before it became popular BUT I had the courtesy to research the genre find its origins  where it came from and its purpose

 

I seen the come adn go of Grime, UK Funky and Road Rap

and now Tech/Deep house is going to be left like one of those genres. 

The worst thing about it is, the people who are leading the genre right now seem to be making tunes to appeal to these cunts, I can't fault them though money talks.

 

I am going Circo Loco 26th and I am currently dreading it, I have a fear it going to be like walking into a UK Funky rave, with people throwing ridiculous hopskotch on MDMA "shapes" hyping about how sick there shapes look in there new blazers and Obey cap
