HMV is poised to go into administration as early as Tuesday, delivering a further blow to Britain’s embattled high streets, after suppliers refused a request for a £300m lifeline for the struggling entertainment retailer.

Deloitte, which has been advising HMV’s lending banks, is being lined up as administrator to the chain, putting 4,000 jobs at risk.

and the funny part is where?

that they were unable to adapt. these were the same eedyats pushing for anti piracy laws time as far back as early late 90's. someone like you who probably hasnt ever bought more than 10 CDs in his life wouldve been in pen if they were successful. rather than adapt to changing times they wanted to keep hundreds of stores open paying staff minimum wage while raking in millions from over priced shit. Thats the funny part...those who lost their jobs will live on
