people have already even posted ways of buying bitcoins in this very thread. mt.gox is prob the easiest/safest way but verification queues on there are apparently weeks long right now

 

what I mean by not understanding bitcoins is that if you done any little bit of reading on it, you would see that this experimental currency works in a way that it's value ought to be rising to a much much higher value. The more it rises, the stronger the theory becomes, if you like.
