iPhone 4 unlock

Got an iPhone 4 on T-Mobile (EE). It's contract finished well over 2years ago.

 

It's on iOS 6.

 

EE are saying £20 to unlock it. That's a bump.

 

Any way to get it unlocked for free?

 

Want to put a giff gaff sim in it.

Ah fuck it, I'll just pay it. Gonna take long though. It's my girlfriend's, she got it changed at the Apple store so the IMIE doesn't match with EE's records. Need to go to Apple store, get confirmation printed and post that to EE and then wait for them to unlock it.

 

She gave me this as a present. Had a broken screen so I had to change that and now this.

 

SMH, I should have just stuck with my 3GS.

£20 is the best price on T mobile, it might take up to 30 days to activate but usually its done within a week. Vodafone's the quickest with a turnaround of 24 hours for the unlock.
