I really dont understand the concept of a new testament, surely the original word of god is the one that should be followed not a later edited version?

I guess its irrelevant anyway as a fully practising christian is rare to find these days, most 'christians' dont even seem to follow the new testament properly either.

Actually the closest ive seen to a practising christian is the egyptian coptics, they seem to take their christianity seriously.

In my experience muslims are just as bad at actually following their religion correctly.

How many muslims have accounts that accumulate interest? In fact do you have a halal bank account?

From your experience. From my experience growing up to the age of 18 around people predominantly from caribbean and african god fearing christian families, to now being around people the majority who are muslim, is that you are wrong. Muslims seem to follow the fundamentals more than christians, ie prayers, pilgrimage, fasting etc

As i said, everyone is hypocritical, religious or not.

And to answer ur question, i have a normal bank account and also a credit card. Now show me someone else in this forum who prays daily (in any religion). I bet even pastor eric doesnt say his prayers before bed daily. Show me someone on this forum who hasnt missed a fasting day for 10+ years (in any religion). Bringing up the bank interest issue is silly, trust me theres many things i need to correct before i change bank account.

what do u mean its silly timebomb?

so any rules you dont follow are silly?

Eric doesnt have to pray every night before he goes sleep btw

The thing I clocked about timebomb is he likes to be seen as the respectable muslim guy on the forum but your far from

used to think you were serious about this ting, probably cos you didnt post too in depth about the subject, but now when you're making all your excuses it becomes more clear your some any 2nd gen muslim, dont talk to me about people that I know cos people that I know that I would even bother talking to about Islam actually live it, sinning less and becoming more devout is a daily task for them

Its silly cos the interest issue is a relatively small sin, and before u say anything yes in islam there are bigger sins than others. Things like murder are obviously a bigger sin, as is adultery, drinking alcohol etc etc

And no one is perfect, there is not one perfect muslim in the world, even the sheikhs preaching on youtube, theyre not perfect. U stick to the fundamentals and improve best u can.

Tbh u spoke a load of bollox, sounds like u posted just for arguments sake, would of expected a similar post from profit.

nar what im saying is, you arent trying to improve bro, you even wrote yourself those people try and improve and sin less dont try and deflect. For all you know me writing this could be a type of message from the creator for you to change your demon ways and your still going along with some e-argument.

Have a ponder on that

I'm wrong about my own experience?

I have grown up around muslims and christians and see no difference between the level of dedication to the fundamentals. I Used to go to the casino and see man in there with there mosque clothes on ffs, I've had muslim man tell me openly that a lot of them are serving their fellow muslims non halal meat same way I have known christian women to be getting doggied in club toilets on a saturday and saying amen up in church the sunday morning of the same week.

I aren't trying to show you anyone who's done anything I'm pointing out it's nonsense to make assertions that Muslims are so much better than other religious people which is something I've clocked you doing quite a lot recently.

The bank interest isn't silly because it's just as easy to open up a halal bank account as it is a normal one, it's not something you have to constantly keep up with so it's a pretty easy teaching to adhere to as a muslim yet so many conveniently overlook it. I aren't Christian and I aren't Muslim so this isn't me defending my team, it's just an honest observation.

The Clear Evidence that Music is Haram

The Religion of Islaam has made clear the prohibition of Music, as is clear from the Qur'aan, ahaadeeth of the Messenger peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him and the understanding of the Companions may Allaah be pleased with them, when all three are taken together.

From the Qur'aan:

Allaah says, what means: "Do you marvel at this statement, and laugh and do not weep, while you amuse yourselves [proudly] in vanities ? Rather, prostrate before Allaah and worship Him [alone]." [surah An-Najm (The Star) Verse 59 to 62 ]

According to Ibn Abbaas may Allaah be pleased with him, the word 'saamidoon' in this verse refers to the mushrikeen's habit of singing and playing music noisily whenever they heard the Qur'aan being recited, in order to drown out the reciters voice so that others wouldn't hear it.

Also, Allaah says (regarding Satan) what means: "'And excite any of them whom you can with your voice. Assault them with your cavalry and infantry, be a partner with them in their wealth and children, and make them promises.' But Satan promises them nothing except deceit." [surah Al-Isra (The Journey by Night) Verse 64]
