It may seem extreme but its slightly true. Mandelas 20+ years stint in prison ate at his heart and body, killed off all his revolutionary spirit, by the time he came out he was this docile happy go lucky frail old man. This is why white people love him so much, he never really espoused the revolutionary tones he did before he went him when he came out, but respect to him anyways even i don't hold him in as high regard as others 27 years is a long time to spend in prison because of what you believe in.
