Laurent Koscielny gave Arsenal an injury scare after limping out of training today.

French defender Koscielny twisted his right ankle and is likely to miss Monday's friendly with Nagoya Grampus Eight.

The injury is not thought to be serious but it did need Arsenal coach Steve Bould to fill in at centre half so they could continue the session.

Arsene Wenger is already short of centre halves as Thomas Vermaelen is out for three months with a fracture in his back.

Right back Bacary Sagna and rookie midfielder Chuks Aneke have both filled in at centre half with Per Mertesacker and Ignasi Miquel also on the trip.

Keeper Wojciech Szczesny sat out training with a back strain and, like Koscielny, is likely to miss the Grampus Eight game as a precaution.

Olivier Giroud, with five goals in two games, also sat out training for a short while with a knock but rejoined the session.

The open training session at the Mizuho rugby stadium was watched by 2,772 fans, including several from England.
