I'm planning on shooting a day-by-day docu style film and had some questions.

 

I will be shooting mainly on my own and am planning on using a GoPro (hero 3). Do you think it's possible to get an hour or two worth of good shots that will be watchable using simply that alone or do you think a second camera (was looking at eos 700d with rigs, tripods etc) would be necessary (i'm sure I could enlist opperatives along the way to film).

I also have no experience in filming or editing, will this be a massive problem? What kind of setup am I looking at for editing and what kind of costs?

 

Would benefit me massively if you lot could give me an insight and any links to resources that might help, thanks.

Whats the docu about?

Go pro is good for some wide aerial shots with narration voice over over it. But would t film a whole docu on it

Will be me travelling the world having mad orgies etc, "tropic of cancer" in video form, looking to leave out on 1st of jan 2014 and will obviously need to be able to shoot before then.

 

Can an admin merge this with the camera thread?
