Michel Kane
Hmmmm.
Can't answer that. My eye for a player is more detailed now, than what it was during Keane's peak.
If I was forced to choose though, I'm going for Steven Gerrard.

Oh, and that's because I consider a more complete player around even though they played different roles/positions.
TBH Ice is right, wouldn't necessarily say comparing them is fair.

Basically what Ice said. People forget Gerrard was playing right mid/attacking midfield between 06-11. From what I remember Keane was a destroyer thats it

Towards the end of his career Keane did the destroyer bit, his career went in stages. He did the box to box thing for a while, played on the wing in some games. Then he did his cruciate and his game changed, during the treble season his style was akin to a more robust and combative Carrick. Later on when his hip and knees went he became a destroyer.
No prizes for guessing who i'd pick.

Yeah i wasnt watching football in 95 and stuff. From 99 i knew man as a destroyer who can play box to box. If it came to box to box which both did according to you man Gerrard is superior to Keane. Calmly

i'd say you probably would've started watching in 2003/4 with that destroyer talk.
