Ryan Giggs believes Manchester United will be an even better side next season. United reclaimed the Premiership title for the first time in four seasons this term after holding off the challenge of Chelsea. Chelsea ended United's Double dreams on Saturday as they won the first FA Cup final at the new Wembley 1-0 courtesy of Didier Drogba's extra-time goal. Despite the loss to Chelsea, Giggs believes this season has been a major success at Old Trafford and he expects the team to even stronger next term with the addition of some new faces. "Each season, you look to move forward," said Giggs. "This defeat does not hurt any less because we are champions, but maybe in a couple of days' time we will be able to take a step back and look upon this season as being a successful one. "Our main aim was to win the Premiership and we achieved that. Now we need to kick on a try to improve. "There is a lot to look forward to because the younger players are getting better and I am sure there will be a couple of new signings as well." Meanwhile, Michael Carrick believes United have proved they are still the best side in England despite losing the FA Cup final. Carrick felt United were unlucky to lose to Chelsea and he feels they have proved they are the best around by lifting the Premiership. "The league table doesn't lie," said Carrick. "We won the league. We are the champions. We have proved we are the best team over a period of time. "I felt we were the better team again in the final. But cup games are one-offs and we have lost to a goal near the end. "No-one remembers the runners-up on occasions like these but we can go into next season knowing how good we are and hopefully we will achieve what we achieved this year."

lol at old man giggs embarassing himself at wembleymessed up like 4 chances to score or setup a goal
Okay why the hate on giggs, hes one of the best players to ever grace the premiership.Giggs played well at the start of the season, even got a player of the month.Though since the watford fa cup semi final hes been sh*t, which is proberly down to burnout due to his age. Man utd just wont get another left winger whos produced such class for such a long time.True legend.
