cdj setup: amp n speakers
not sure what you mean, why would you need an amp or hifi to record to cd?
use the 2nd/booth output from your mixer > input on your lappy and record with audacity or something.
imo lowe all the hifi shit and get some decent active/powered monitors, unless you want to go deep in the speaker game.
what mixer do you have?

just get some active speakers and you wont need an amp, just hook them straight up to your mixer.
Ive got KRK Rokit 5s paid bout £250 for the pair brand new, would def recommend.
