SQL and VBA are always for a larger purposes

 

unless you're specifically a developer or programmer then you won't need to master anything. A good understanding of both languages is enough to take on jobs that say they are desired attributes tbh.

Mad how time flies and things happen.

 

Got a VB elective module next term and I cannot wait.

 

General excel and financial modelling capabilities have shot through the roof since starting my MSc lots of excel classes and cool people who have done it before to learn from, I've been amassing spreadsheets from funds and stuff through networking too which is amazing as a industry level reference tool.

The sort of people being put forward for jobs by agents.

You just need a bit of experience to be charging £300-400 per day it seems.

 

I could probably charge £400 per day to people who know I'm good at what I do. And that's 2 years experience. But I am actually good.

 

This is app development btw. Not sure what your database knowledge gets you.
