As in people understood their lyrics before rapgenius

 

all pac talks about is police, the penetentiary, bitches and snakes

Pac's vocabulary and bars were more basic because he wrote his verses very quickly, he wasn't picky or a perfectionist, he pretty much just wrote whatever he was thinking at the time, although lyrical technique was sacrificed the upside to this was that you can sense he really feels what he was spittin, he also had a passionate voice which helped.

personally i give pac a 8 out of 10. added 1 for the inspiring, super awesome messages he had for the blk youth
