Warcraft 10/10 film.

Had everything a fantasy film needs

Money Monster was good at making jokes in a serious situation.

Like the scene would be tense, then they would deliver the joke so well that I burst out laughing. 

McNulty was a bit underused, I would have swapped his role with Clooney's

Midnight Special was ok.

Saw a 2014 film called Premature, had potential but the dialogue was forced at certain bits.

Still a decent watch though.

Anyone watched any of that Stranger Things which dropped on Netflix today? Looks good, 9.3/10 on IMDB right now although only 500 odd reviews.

'Casual' (tv show) is decent. Pretty sure I've not watched any other comedies other than New Girl in the last 5 years. Can anyone recommend any? Not keen to test any based on ratings only.

 

Silicon Valley, Broad City etc. Keep hearing about them but are they worth dipping into for the long haul?

Silicon Valley is decent. Only like 10 eps per season, so it's not much of a commitment considering there are only 30 eps so far.

the madman treats the show like his own personal art project

took me like 2 seasons to realise the black woman was his wife and not just an overly involved babysitter  it's entertaining don't get me wrong, but I laugh more at his standup shots then anything in the actual eps

I'm enjoying this new Braindead series - its a political sci-fi comedy starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead (from 10 Cloverfield Lane and Scott Pilgrim vs the World)

trailers seem to be blocked outside of the US but its worth a watch, not laugh out loud funny but it is funny

Jungle book was sick, dare to say it even felt better than the original.

Bill Murray stole the show for me. Apparently they're going to be doing dumbo and beauty and the beast next. Lion King NEEDS to happen.
