who are your heroes

David Beckham was my only idol. If only I counted the hours I spent in my first pair of preds finessing my curled lob by aiming for that no ball games sign. Throwing out my left arm and swiping my forehead like I actually had curtains too.

Not so much now but when I was younger

Tupac for his courage to speak his mind.

JT the Bigga Figga for his independent hustle mentality.

Any black person throughout history I learn about who made significant contributions to their professions.

Yea I'm a huge Ray Bradbury fan still.

mine has always been david beckham

always...

seeing his transformation from when he was early 20's up till now... having the most solid career, marrying victoria, having 4 kids... being 'faithful'... seems like a GENUINELY nice human being - no racism in his body... and was originally from di endz

cant complain

It's impressive that a man of his wealth and notoriety appears to be relatively grounded. Remember this from 2011

do people still have heroes by their 20s?

like I have people of whom have certain aspects that I admire but for the most part I can't look at someone and say "I want to be like them"
