Radio pluggers is so far down the line now imo.

 

Soundcloud, Youtube, Blogs and sites like GRMDaily, LinkUp, SB, etc... Can all draw the radio to you before your ever need a plugger imo, tbh sometimes I think pluggers are a force.

No some artists/labels and radio stations need pluggers, but I don't know how I feel about people suggesting to new artists to get there first plays on the radio (particularly a station like 1Xtra) via a plugger

Rinse need a new DJ pushing UK rap. SK is okay but more times he's playing mainstream, US, or tunes from the bait UK artists who've been around since '04 (which often can't make a half-decent track). They need someone a bit closer to Charlie Sloth, but with a quality control filter on the selection.

They still don't actually make profit as a radio station, they can't afford to move to DAB without becoming commercial. They don't even have proper ads on yet.
