Wengers not a fool like the rest of you though, he would take Sterling for 30m in a world where you're cudrados willians and Navas are fetching the same price.

He won't, I don't think he's going to bid at all

Remember this is a world where Alexis is 30 mill too

He would if he thought he could get him for 30m.

Wenger rates him highly.

Sterling is 20, so what if Alexis cost 30, he cost the around the same moving to Barca from Udinese in first place.

Sanchez went for that price because of his situation at Barca, you can get bargains from Madrid and Barca rejects, everyone knows this.

When he moved from Udinese he moved for around 40m euros.

His stock didn't go up from then, hence his price, which was a bargain.

Its not really comparable to selling arguably the best 20 year old in Europe to a domestic rival, of course price will be inflated.

Its about perspective, there are terrible players that moved for huge sums, and you're using them as a yard stick on sterlings price,

You can get bargins everywhere and a bargain is something Wenger likes

Its comparable to arsenal, especially a player of this level in this position, hes not one of those players and we don't need him,he hardly improves arsenal in all honestly

Wenger would of never brought Rooney or Rio for that amount lol are you crazy? Even if he had the funds too

"The arrival of Bony takes City’s spending during the winter and summer windows to £83million, with the full fee for Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala now being confirmed as £42million, rather than the £32m reported by the club at the time of his arrival."

yeah but rio wasnt a random £30m though

hed already cost £18m and improved and gained champions league/big game experience after that

/

Sterling is worth around £40m

20, english, talented attacker, but only has 2 years left on his deal and wants to leave so shouldnt go for much more then that

TF valuation is 36m, I'd say Wenger done well to pay that.

Liverpool can't take less than that tbf.

The window after 36m is tight tho, cos beyond 40m, I'd start saying man are getting had - yeah potential, English, national first teamer, Liverpool's top 3 starter, potentially 10 years service, but he ain't showing no signs of loyalty at all.

50m is a Scouse Hustle, don't give a shit.

They want that so they can say they got 40m and sold a player for 50 they bought for potentially 5m :lmao:
