I disagree Winning the title or doing weel in the KO stages of CL might not be a direct result of Sterling's transfer, suppose city do that without giving him playing time.

I think people expect too much because of the importance he has in the Liverpool team.

Should still be getting rested/dropped here and there but he has to start when fit and is one of two players in the whole squad (counts) that can make something happen.

Throw in some top additions in the midfield creativity department (Milner) and a top striker to relieve the goal scoring burden a bit (ings) and people will be able to put Sterling's output back expectations back into perspective
