Organisation - how well organised are you?

I am absolutely and completely terrible.

No real planning or forethought goes into anything I do. I just wing it and improvise, which has normally worked very well but is a big fucking no-no when you have a kid, I've discovered.

Started keeping a diary/checklist of my weeks events to try and get a solid routine going & keep me from just freestyling everything

What about you? How organised are you with the things you need to get done?

Good? If so is there anything you do in particular to help?

Bad? If so why, do you care? Does it impact your life and how?

Having a calendar has changed my life

I just put it in, using the 'calendar' app, linked to my gmail

Then come the morning I look at what I need to do and do it

Also keeps my kind free from clutter since the phone is rembering things for me

You know what I was going to use the calendar on my phone, but my phone seems like too much of a leisure item for me, I suppose I FEEL I need a more symbolic change

May move to using the phone once I've grown up, though

CS the calendar>___ Got a shared one too with the missus, the amount of times I've made plans after forgetting I'd said we'd do something.

Also, Evernote is a lifesaver, syncs with my laptop, phone and work pc, if I need to note something down I'll use that, basically never have to remember anything.

I'm medium organised

I use my phone calender with alarms

At work I use my outlook calendar and I write a list at the end of the day of everything that must be done the next day.

I block out time in my outlook calendar so no one books meetings in that time. Also helps me get realistic about how long tasks actually take
