"Terminator: Genesis" is the fifth installment of the Terminator movie franchise. Originally announced as a sequel to Terminator Salvation by McG to be released sometime in 2011, Halcyon Company was forced to declare bankruptcy and production was put on hiatus. The film has now been picked up by Megan Ellison of Annapurna Films and her brother David Ellison, of Skydance Productions. Paramount Pictures is set to distribute.

 

Looks like it got canned, and since this new film is the start of a trilogy I don't think we'll see it picked back up in the near future.

 

I actually liked salvation aswell.
