Money's money

You either got it or you aint

As usual though, most VIP2ers missed the subtext of what Dame was talking about:

Clue: It wasn't money.

No as usual your delusions of grandeur cause you to assume that I don't understand when actually I don't agree  :/

owner of nike> michael jordan

owner of microst> ceo of microsoft

owner of iheartradio> dj envy

Some tunnel vision

Michael Jordan > Owner of iheartradio

Look

Owner 1 > Employee 1 > Employee 2-3 > Employee 4-8 > Employee > 9-24 Employee 25-256 > Employee 257-65536 > Employee 65537-429496729

Owner 2 > Employee A > Employee B

Employee 1 is better placed in life than Owner 2

Employee 1 is also better placed to replace or replicate Owner 1 than Owner 2

not tunnel vison just illustratings dames point

by dames logic

owner of barbershop> investment banker

by your logic

investment banker> owner of barbershop

barbershop owner may have a better life due to owning his own rather than being told what to do in more control of his/her destiny

investment banker may have more money than the barbershop owner but his job can go at anytime, doesn't have the freedom of controlling his own , structured work schedule, being told what to do etc etc

all down to preference really - would you rather be an IB and collect a 6 figure salary or a BO and collect 3k a month

people need to stop saying "owner of ______" when they're publicly traded companies

if you think Michael Jordan is a billionaire only from his Nike deal you're foolish, Michael Jordan owns most of Charlotte Hornets, and that's the reason why he turned billionaire

Yeah you totally missed his point

I'm not cosigning him so what I'm saying wont represent his point will it. I understand the concept of independence.

Another man being able to say they no longer want your services is nothing when you're an expert in your field and those expertise are in high demand across your industry.

If I got fired tomorrow morning I wont sweat, I'll contact my recruitment agents and not a single pay day will be missed.
