I foresee an ability to control my Fire TV stick, to make verbal Amazon orders, control thermostats, lights, locks, etc.

 

 

 

I'm pretty excited about future uses of it, like controlling my SmartThings devices. Others may want to control their Nest Thermostat, or Hue bulbs. None of these things are out of the question, and some people have even made a hacked-together solution that worked pretty well. And since it updates it's software automatically, it's something I never need to worry about.
