Arsenal 2015/16

Relieved we bagged our first win of the season, especially in that kind of fixture.

Santi and Ozil were fantastic, Sanchez is still a few games short of his usual standard, defence looked improved on the whole too. Ramsey was so dead today, what did he offer exactly.

Desperately need that DM and another striker but unlikely... Fair to play to Giroud for that banger tho.

Mesut Ozil's starring role in Arsenal's win at Crystal Palace will make it harder for Aaron Ramsey to win the central role he wants – but he can't work any harder to convince Arsene Wenger to give him a chance.

Ramsey ran 7.2 miles in the game, above half a mile more than any of his team mates, and also made the most sprints (57).

He did his work with a purpose, too, having seven shots at goal in all and making four chances for others.

Becoming our Rooney.

This is what matters, and as long as Özil continues putting in shifts like this we've got the upgraded 10 Wenger wanted and everyone else can either step up or step off.

Don't care for who's on the bench and how good they are now. Man should have Theo on RW and done.

  • 2 weeks later...

I get why Giroud is static, he has no pace so it has to be slight intelligent movement, not that hes great at it between lines.

But Walcott, I don't get why he too becomes stuck in quick sand, how with his pace he gets caught offside. Why today with the legs of Ramsey behind he didnt try dragging players out wide to make room for them.

How Ramsey got MOTM.

At 3pm today I said so many questions....

Wenger needs to stop chopping & changing the strikers, needs to play one for 3 games in a row, 90mins

Should've gone two up top vs Newcastle in the 2nd half, the min Feo came off there was space in behind, he would've bagged eventually

Tempo needs to be much quicker at home, they need to curtail all that nonsense on the edge of the area & penetrate

We should follow Citeh's approach (before KDB), pace in wide areas, physical combative cm's & a playmaker, there's no need for 2/3 playmakers on the park in the english game
