He's a secret agent with a code name.

Whilst he may have originally been written as a white character to play the secret agent with a code name.

There is nothing to stop him being changed to a black man.

That's why there's been so many Bond's over the years all different guys playing a secret agent with the code name "James Bond".

Same. I can't picture him playing Bond. I've not seen all his movies though so I don't know his range of acting. Everything I see him in he plays a bit of a weirdo, Bane, Mad Max, Bronson, and then I've seen him on chat shows as himself and he comes across as the same weird guy.
