Guy is an actual clown. Fully considers himself to be subhuman. Always using "Nigga, niggas, etc" as well but in a way that makes you think :/

He's like the house slave in django, thinking he's better than any other black person and not try to bring them through/help his people.

The true uncle Tom of this world.

The "educated" comment shows how much of a self hater he is.

If this makes you feel more secure at the other end of your computer line, I'm happy for you to think it.

London assembly police committee are assisting police in calling for changes again....hoping to 'move it to a park'

Claiming that a 'hillsborough' style disaster will happen one day........

/

Thankfully...Sadiq is a fan of carnival and has no plans to move it.

Safety is paramount, but turning it into a parked festival is not the direction anyone except non-visitors want..

resisting change is not always ideal though. i can understand that the call for changing the venue mainly comes from a prejudiced perspective,

"they are making noise and making us uncomfortable over two days out of 365".... well boo fucking hoo. They never talk about the income generated by the carnival and the effect on local businesses, but always talk about the arrests, and clean up/security costs.

on the other hand, moving to a park or another venue does not have to be completely overlooked. the Brazilian carnival was changed from a street to a purposebuilt arena making it bigger and better. (apparently)

and i dont see how they expect to move it from notting hill to the queens backgarden and not think that it will only a matter of time before Aunty Liz says shes had enough and it closes completely

BBC and various sources state that Notting Hill Carnival contributes around £93m to the London economy each year whilst Policing costs for the weekend is around £7m.

They state that over a million people attend carnival over the weekend and they throw claims out there like violent crime was on the raise by  20% from the previous year ¬_¬

Total arrests for violent crime was around 150... that is around 0.015% of the population attending. Im sure if you compare this to Glastonbury / Other festivals / football matches then the percentages would be worse for those events.

They're really keen to highlight the crime vs violent crime debate

....although the percentage of arrests per attendance is probably lower at carnival than at Glasto......the number of arrests for violent crimes is higher... Di goons are making it difficult for us normal people to defend loooool

Pls do nicer crimes if you're planning to attend in 2017
