You really think united are gonna drop 9 points to chelsea?
Once rooney is dropped which want be long they are not dropping sh*t
9 points is not a lot at this stage of the season. Couple losses and draws and that 9 point gap is gone. Every team is gonna have a patch of bad form.
What makes you think chelsea are gonna gain 9 points tho? They look absolutely awful at the moment and dont look like improving until january at the earliest.
Chelsea need Champions form, being over a 1/4 into the season the only reason you give them that benefit of thinking that they could even hit that form is cos they are the current Champions and at times it's been thin margins.
That said we are over 1/4 into the season now, a blip is like 6 games, not 10...

If you haven't played each other then it's debatable but even taking that into consideration, you're banking on Chelsea hitting form (not losing) and gaining 9 points on United and maintaining it. Top 4 games against each other like yesterday you take into consideration as potential points dropped but even then Chelsea lost to West Ham.
This league is MORE competitive now. I can't even see Chelsea not losing more games. I just don't see it.
I'd swap Chelsea/United in my list posted previous.
