Was really upsetting reading that. Watching someone you grew up deteriorate like that must be so hard because you knew what they were like and what they could of been whereas strangers will only see a "madman" or "nitty" but you know that that person is more than just a random.

Recently saw a video of DL Hughley talking about helping someone with a drug problem and it was touching but also seemed pretty real. This topic just made me think of it

I've known a few people who I think show signs of addiction but to their credit they "seem" to keep it together.

However I met/know one guy who is gone, tries to keep it together but he keeps losing and tbh I don't think he'll win his fight now. Must be fucked.
